22 augusttoday, we, the chalet coordinators were supposed to meet up at ang moh kio hub at 12pm to discuss and come to a conclusion for the plans and games for the chalet. i woke up at 9.30 and decided that it was kinda early. so i turned on my laptop and went to lie down on my bed which led to me taking forty winks..seriously it was like i just blinked and the time became 12.45 D: my handphone was switched off and so, i was unreachable - pariah. argh rushed out of the house and finally reached amk hub at around 2.30. of all places they chose amk hub wth >.> come jurong mah, can iceskate somemore xD
puvin, jerrold, jiahui, benjamin, yufeng and hweesheng were already there discussing D:
then we talked about the viable plans for each day and see which was the best suggestion. did alot of funny stuff. there was one point where everybody got so enthusiastic and each was talking so loudly that puvin came up with a 'boss' talking stick, an ice lemon tea bottle, and a 'lesser' talking stick, a McFlurry spoon. we discussed further after that for quite a while then we went back. i went to meet jianyan for iceskating. and this time, i retained 90% of my skills after missing out a week of skating!! could really feel the improvement. at around 8.30, a whole bunch of people came in..i think close to 50 or maybe more. to celebrate someone's birthday. crazy man all didn know how to skate and then the rink was so packed. but it was fun going damn fast amongst them because no matter what, if theres an obstacle in front of you, theres bound to be an opening somewhere else and you must react fast if not you are gonna langa everybody infront D:
23 augusttoday was a boring saturday, well at least only for the morning. then i found out that jiahui was feeling the same..and we had one desire in common - go out. i didn care about what to do or where to go, i just wanted to go out. and we tried asking people out but none made it :/ so it was settled, jiahui and i decided to go shopping at bugis and vivo. hahahaha i left the house at around 2.40 and realised that my handphone's battery life was left with a single bar for almost 2 whole days and i was like oh shit die! i told jiahui that if its 3.30pm and if i hadnt contact her by then that means my battery is flat and i would be waiting at the control station there. when i reached, it was 3.35pm and i called jiahui. i heard her telling me to come up and tap out and that she would be waiting at the control station. i did that but couldnt find her..after 10mins, i think she saw me and tapped out and told me that she said not to tap out >.>
we then went to bugis street. it was really damn congested and you wont have an ease of mind while stopping by a shop to take a look at its products because you would be obstructing the traffic by standing at the corridor. we went round and around and finally i bought a short-sleeved hoodie and a sleeve-less hoodie overwear! total spent: $50 and im broke now. then we went around and went into this shop where jiahui forced me to put on a pair of skinnies. after i wore them i freaked out because i looked like some gay(hougang) >.> we went around somemore and then we headed to vivo city.
at vivo we went to look around then we had a light snack at carls junior! both of us had a set of beef chilli cheese fries each and it was damn nice!! really very nice! it was only 5+ but the place was already full. next we went to some shops to see-see. initially, jiahui went to look for those tops that she already have in abundance in her closet so i decided that it was time that she had a makeover, from her hair to the way she dress! yea. she looked around for clothes she dont really have and i spotted two pieces which i rated 9/10. both of'em will look very good on you jiahui! and you must be daring! to make a new fashion statement ;] you should really consider those two xD after that we went around somemore and went to this petshop where they housed alot of cute dogs!! omg really damn cute xD i think i want a husky when i move to my new house.
after (window)shopping, we went to find jerrold at his workplace at isetan in orchard. and guess what..hes working at the toys department LOL we talked abit then went off.
so the conclusion is that my shopping was fruitful but jiahui's one wasnt as fruitful but at least she got some priceless advice(those 9/10 tops) from me xD
